P40 Whale Plane.
Anatomy has always intrigued me.
Everyone has skeletons. What a unifying concept! We have an oddly distant relationship with our own insides. I enjoy carving out the anatomy of the glass pieces I work on, and bring those details to the surface.
This piece was made in collaboration with Chadd Lacy.

Adrienne Di Salvo has designed face masks that look like some of the glass pieces she made with Chadd Lacy. These are scary times, spread cheer with these playful masks while helping to stop the spread of COVID-19! Most of the proceeds are being donated to MedShare, a humanitarian aid non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities, and our planet. They source and directly deliver surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world.
