Spermaceti Seesaw.
It’s all about balance.
Balance isn’t always easy. The Sperm Whales on each end of the Seesaw are removable, and set in place on posts. Their weight is balanced by springs at the center pivot point.
This piece is made in collaboration with Chadd Lacy. Chadd blew and sculpted the Sperm whales in borosilicate glass. Adrienne fabricated the base and Seesaw out of Steel, copper, and brass. Adrienne also set garnets on the handles of the seesaw for extra sparkle.
